Google Gravity
on Phone
This is the how-to version: you've got a phone in your hand, five minutes to spare, and you want to see the Google page fall apart. It builds on our Google gravity and underwater tricks guide, and it focuses on the steps, the snags and how to share what you make.
Short version: Open the original Google Gravity experiment in your phone's browser, wait for it to load, then drag the pieces with your finger. Tilt the phone if it asks for motion access and you allow it.
Worth knowing
- It runs in a normal mobile browser, so there's nothing to install.
- Allow motion access if you want tilt control.
- Use your phone's built-in screen recorder to share it.
Step by step
- Open your phone's browser (Chrome, Safari or similar).
- Go to the original Google Gravity experiment.
- Wait for the page to finish loading.
- Touch and drag any piece to move it.
- If asked about motion, tap Allow and tilt your phone.
If it won't cooperate
| Problem | Quick fix |
|---|---|
| Page stays normal | Make sure you opened the experiment, not the regular Google page. |
| Nothing moves | Turn off any content blockers for this page. |
| It's slow | Close other apps and tabs. |
| Tilt does nothing | Allow motion access in your browser settings. |
Most hiccups come down to blockers and settings, which holds for much of the complete list of Google Easter eggs too.
Share what you make
- Start a screen recording first. Both iPhone and Android have a built-in recorder.
- Tip the phone slowly. Slow tilts look better on video.
- Keep clips short. Ten to fifteen seconds is plenty.
- Try a friend's reaction. Hand them the phone with the page already fallen.

How we checked this: We used the creator's comments on device orientation and user reports of touch support. We haven't tested every phone model, so settings and results will vary. If something here is out of date for you, email ownerflexora.ai@gmail.com and we will fix it.
Your turn: Record a ten-second clip of the page falling, then send it to someone who has never seen it.
